Use a power nap to help a headache

I have TMJ, it typically flares up when I am stressed. I gnash my teeth and the muscle along my jaw becomes inflamed. The pain starts behind my eyes and in my jaw. After a while I become sensitive to light, loud noises, and begin to feel nauseous. At night I usually wear a retainer to keep from grinding my teeth, but stressors during the day sometimes cause a flare-up.

The best treatment is a nice relaxing nap while listening to soft music on my iPod. Maroon 5 seems to be my music of choice as of late. I don’t necessarily sleep, but I do relax for 20-30 minutes and feel rejuvenated. This could be considered a power nap. If you have never tried one, the next time you feel run down, just kick back for 20-30 minutes and tune out the outside world and let your stressors go for a bit. You will find yourself energized and ready for more!

Kindle Book
According to ICv2 an average of nearly 10,000 copies of every book published is downloaded from filesharing sites. I really hope the publishing industry finds a reasonable middle ground and don’t end up the way of the music download.

Many believe the downloads could lead to more sales. Think of it as try before you buy. As a writer I am some what concerned people will consider ebooks free content, that they don’t feel obligated to pay for. I prefer publishers give out sample chapters and hopefully the reader can decide if the book is for them.

With the Apple Tablet around the corner it’s time for the publishing industry to evolve. Time to make smart decisions and not end up like the music industry which has alienated fans and keep using a broken business model. (ICv2)
